The Advisory Board meeting of our Faculty, with the participation of external stakeholders, was held online on May 5, 2025. During the meeting, our stakeholders from sectors related to the Faculty shared their experiences and discussed suggestions aimed at supporting the academic, professional, and personal development of our students.
The importance of students engaging with different disciplines was emphasized, and it was noted that increasing opportunities such as participation in double major and distance education programs, as well as the ability to take elective courses from other faculties, would be beneficial. In addition, foreign language proficiency was highlighted as a key factor for success across sectors, and it was stressed that students should be encouraged to become more competent in this area.
The Board members also underlined the significance of industrial internships, involvement in R&D activities at technology parks, and participation in various social and cultural events in shaping well-rounded individuals. It was further evaluated that we may be entering a period where interest in Faculties of Science will rise, potentially leading to a stronger student profile.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all stakeholders who contributed to the meeting and express our hope that such collaborations, which shed light on the future of our students, will continue to grow.
